David Nissen is a professional bassoonist with a lifetime of playing experience; he has also had a long professional career teaching and coaching in colleges and schools.

David is the UK agent and manager for Rostov Balalaika the world-famous ensemble of musicians, singers and dancers from the Don Cossack region of South Russia.

He uses the Sibelius system to publish his own music arrangements and compositions. Some examples are included on the site for you to view (and listen to!). David also sets music for other music publishers, including Warner-Chappell, Faber Music and many other individual arrangers and composers.

Also, David has produced various pieces of kinetic art for private homes and commercial spaces.
